Service was very good. Got three birria tacos with consume and it was absolutely delicious, would reccoment the virgin margarita and a lime to accompany the tacos.

Overall this place was pretty good. The barbacoa taco, chicken quesadilla and their version of a Crunchwrap were the highlights. I thought these dishes were all super flavorful and yummy. The carnitas, fish and birria tacos didn't stand out to me and I've had better elsewhere. It was pretty cute inside but it's a bit small and you're seated pretty close to the people next to you. I've heard great things about line star so maybe my expectations were too high but I thought it was good not great.

If you are looking for a good Marg, some top-notch queso, and a cool vibe- check out Lone-Star.... ! There's a nice little outdoor patio for the warm weather while inside is chill and dimly lit-. There's usually a cool movie or sitcom on to entertain if you happen to be a cool lone-drinker, lone-diner like me. Perhaps I am Lone-dining Star . The drinks, queso, and guac are the best things I have had on the menu but the rest of the food is tasty and fresh. Also, I must try brunch to get full menu spectrum. See ya here!

Chips are amazing, fish tacos are outstanding, the rest of the tacos are just ok. Cool vibes and friendly service

Lone Star Taco has delicious food and great drinks, with many different options. I had a Mango Margarita which was refreshing and had a Tajín rim. We also got nachos, which were pretty unique and topped with cabbage but very tasty.

Had heard about this place for years, so glad to finally try it, and also that it lived up to its rep. First and foremost, delicious margs here, and plenty of mezcal, if you are into that. I order birria any time I see it on a menu, and Lone Star delivered; it was wonderfully fatty and rich. A surprise for me though was how good the grilled avocado taco was. I'm not sure I've ever had avocado not raw, but it was downright fantastic - their salsa verde is great in general, so that paired quite well. Certainly a fun spot, and the patio out back for nice weather sure doesn't hurt (although not much of a view).

Was not expecting such good Mexican here, having spent a lot of time in Texas and California. The chorizo taco is so delicious and unique - I've never had one so delightfully cheesy. Definitely memorable and worth coming back for. The carnitas taco was good too but not mind blowing like the chorizo. The corn muffin was enjoyable, including with the guava jam - though it was more a dipping liquid and they gave way too much for the muffin. I liked their super thick, crunchy tortilla chips.
